The kind of recognition we appreciate the most

Ree Park Safari has recently been certified Green Attraction by the Green Key-program as one of the first animal parks in Denmark. The recognition comes after a long and very specific effort by the Park’s staff and management and underlines that Ree Park Safari is committed to promoting green and sustainable practices to the widest possible extent.

“It is an important reminder that we have an important role to play in the work towards a more sustainable world,” says Ree Park Safari CEO, Jesper Stagegaard.

The Green Attraction certificate means that Ree Park Safari commits to working even harder to promote nature conservancy and inviting both private and corporate guests to join in the effort with curiosity and responsibility.

Karen Blixen Camp in Masai Mara, Kenya, has recently been awarded the Gold Ecorating Certification by Eco Tourism Kenya, based on a very thorough assessment conducted over multiple days in and around the camp. In the assessment, the audit team examined a wide variety of topics within Conservation, Community, Culture and Business Practices, and the rating is based both on inspections and interviews with staff members and management.
